Your questions, answered
It’s okay to have questions.
Here are some of the things young people and families ask us. If your question isn’t here, our team can help.

Life at Peerment
A few things you might be wondering.
Will I share with other people?
No. Your property is self-contained and the tenancy is in your own name. It’s your own front door and your own space.
What if I struggle with bills or living on my own?
That’s what the support is for. We work with you on budgeting, bills and the things you find difficult, at a pace that works for you.
Can family and friends visit?
It’s your home, so generally yes. Your support worker can explain your tenancy agreement and talk through what works for your situation.
Will support suddenly stop?
Support reduces gradually as your confidence and skills grow. The aim is independence, with a planned approach rather than a sudden cut-off.
How do I get a place at Peerment?
Referrals come through a social worker, personal advisor or local authority team. You can’t refer yourself directly. Ask your worker about Peerment, or contact us and we’ll explain the next steps.
Your next step
You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
Ask your social worker or personal advisor about Peerment, or talk to our team about what happens next.
